WHAT IS MOTHER?

Mother is a hub for various cell phone case brands.
This season we are selling iPhone items culled from the internet,
organized and marketed by functionality and price point.

The Goal:
Design a responsive cell phone case site using Adobe XD.

My Role:
Generalist / Team of 1
Brand Concept and Design, User Research, UI/UX Design, Product Research & Editing, Wireframing, Testing, Prototyping, Adobe XD


My Challenge:
Create a unique brand story and engage the customer using strategic UX/UI.

WHERE IS THE USER RESEARCH?

The Interviewees :
5 professionals, ages 27 - 48 including 2 mothers. Studied online behavior; favorite sites, products and function.

I listened to needs, pain experiences and gratifiers. I then focused on navigation, design and drop offs. 


The Issues:
How do I feature the users' issue with product appearance and function?
How do I make site look good, move fast and organized?

Personas, User Journey, Pain Points, User Flow, Site Map

Opportunities

Upon focusing on the "fun collection" issue. I dug deeper into the brand name Mother which resulted into types of Mothers
my users might know and love: Tuff, Glam and Everyday.
